Keli Laverty, BC-DMT

Dance/Movement Therapist &

Women's Mental Health Specialist

Healing includes the body.

Stress is a biological experience — not just a mental one. When it isn’t processed, it shows up through eating disorders, trauma patterns, anxiety, burnout, and chronic pain & overwhelm.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, Keli integrates Dance/Movement Therapy with relational psychotherapy and DBT- and ACT-informed approaches to offer a body-first path to healing.

Her work is designed to build capacity, restore connection, and support meaningful, embodied change.

Beyond the Studio

Outside of her clinical work, Keli lives the embodied approach she teaches.

She finds renewal through movement, time in nature, travel, and shared adventure with her family — from hiking and skiing to dancing in everyday moments. She values experiences that require courage and presence, believing that growth happens through lived practice, not just insight.

Her faith is foundational to this way of living. She believes the body is not separate from the spirit — that we were intentionally designed to inhabit our bodies fully. Through movement and adventure, she experiences connection with God and trusts His presence in the world He created.

This posture of trust, embodied risk, and grounded courage shapes the therapy space she creates: steady, safe, and open to exploration.
